I own the license to run a ‘Musical Bumps’ business (music class for families with babies and pre-school children; and music lessons at EYFS schools and settings) in the Tonbridge & Sevenoaks area of Kent. I launched the classes in 2007 and I have a team of teachers working with me to fulfil both private classes and contract work. In 2017 I developed an intergenerational element to my work, taking groups of families with young children to enjoy singing and music activities in Care homes for the elderly. I've been part of a project funded by the local authority supporting the development of speech and language in the early years through music. I was involved in the creation of a CPD programme for early years practitioners called 'Music Talks' which was implemented in settings across Kent and further afield.
