I have been fortunate to combine a career as a doctor, clinician administrator and medical educator here at the Cleveland Clinic. In addition I have been able to broaden my leadership skills in many areas. My biggest interest is in leading change in a VUCA world by thinking about innovative approaches to current practices and understanding how to learn new approaches from the contrarian views of patients and employees. Currently as the President of a strategically important Cleveland Clinic 173-bed community hospital, I am enjoying leading a great team of caregivers who are highly dedicated to the community in which we serve. Our main strategy is grounded in new initiatives centered around growth, impact, developing best practices, maintaining quality initiatives, assuring patient satisfaction and managing the care of the provider as I think they all are interdependent for the success of all of our patient interactions.
