I am a 7th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher. I also organize and facilitate the Instructional Counsel.

I was accepted to be a Teach Plus fellow specifically working with a group on Educational data and the NMPED school data collection system. During this time I got to research national educational data systems, write and present an explanation of our findings and our recommendations for the district, present our findings to the Navajo Nations school board.

An experienced and highly motivated teacher with an extensive history of working with students, administration, and fellow teachers in various capacities to continuously improve our school. This required me to lead a core team through the reflective Data Wise process, who made decisions for our school as well as the Department Head team who would implement the steps of the process with the staff. • Accomplished Teaching Grant lead and budget planner for the Data Wise, Instructional Rounds, and Family Engagement teams. • Organized and ran the first and second annual Cultural Diversity Night prompting diversity and cultural awareness within our organization.
