I am currently pursuing a doctorate in public health at the University at Albany, with a concentration on maternal and child health policy. I have experience in data collection, analysis, and presentation to unique and diverse stakeholders in early childhood. Through my current position as a Program Manager at Docs for Tots, I have additional experience in designing and implementing training curriculum for early care and education providers, mental health consultants, pediatric medical providers, and their teams. These roles included engaging and communicating with stakeholders at the local, regional, state, and national levels.I received a Master of Public Health from Hofstra University. My diverse work experience includes working for ScribeAmerica as a medical scribe, trainer, and then Project Manager; a Standardized Patient at various medical schools; a supervisor at Starbucks; a receptionist at a physical therapy office, and an after school teacher. My undergraduate degree was in Communicative Disorders and Sciences with a focus on human development, giving me familiarity with clinical settings and treatment plan development and implementation.Outside of work, I have previous volunteer experience as an EMT and at Albany Medical Center. Currently, I am an active volunteer with Planned Parenthood, the event manager of Hofstra’s Public Health Alumni Association(2018-present), and president of our chapter of Delta Omega (2019-2021). I have remained an active member of APHA since joining as a student in 2017.
