I completed an externship working in the JMU dining halls as a member of the Aramark team. I gained valuable experience with food and beverage guidelines, how to serve, when to serve, what not to serve, etc. I assisted chefs and sous chefs with preparation and serving dinner.

Worked as a member of the Nantucket Lifeguard team guarding 13 beaches on the island of Nantucket. Assisted patrons with first aid minors and majors, and provided rescue due to rip currents and big swell. Transferred medical care to EMS when the conditions were life threatening. First aid certified, AED/CPR certified, and USLA certified. Rigorous daily training with 40 hour per week work schedule.

Worked as a sales associate for Nantucket Surf Club. I helped with inventory management, provided shopping assistance, made sure the store was in pristine conditions at all times, and handled rental agreements for paddle boards and surf boards.
