Liaison between the Troy, Michigan office and the association’s Washington, D.C. staff -- direct and implement government affairs policy and strategy. Secretary to the OESA Board of Directors. Important to this position is the ability to work closely with association members to establish priorities, allocate resources, develop and execute strategy for the many varied activities. Over the past 15 years, initiated and managed more than 350 association events; developed agendas and facilitated more than 550 council and committee meetings; wrote more than 1000 newsletter articles; developed and executed via committee more than 15 major industry publications.

The Canadian Consulate General provides trade assistance to Canadian companies doing business in the U.S. Worked with Canadian businesses in the automotive and transportation sector to identify market opportunities in the U.S., and to develop appropriate market entry strategy based on company and product. Worked closely with Canadian and U.S. businesses to identify opportunities for sales in the U.S. Organized trade missions, exhibits at national trade shows, and ran networking and educational programs. Visited over 150 Canadian manufacturing plants/company locations; initiated and led more than 15 trade missions; and initiated and organized more than 45 industry events.
