Advancement And Stewardship Manager
Works with Advancement team to develop and implement advancement strategies. Duties include meeting fundraising goals, implementing stewardship plan for donors, and coordinating the in-kind donation program. Oversees data entry and system management of Raiser's Edge. Supports events and Women's Leadership programs.
Field Operations Supervisor
Working with Volunteer Services, I am the project lead for our Recruitment efforts, looking to add 1,000 new volunteers to our programs. My main focus, though is as the supervisor to the Field Site Associate team, comprised of ~10 part-time hardworking and very dedicated folks. We ensure there are volunteers all over central Virginia who can deliver meals each week to our clients. The Field Site Associates are the volunteer coordinators of our Meals On Wheels program in Louisa, Goochland/Powhatan, Chesterfield, Tri-Cities (Petersburg, Colonial Heights, and Hopewell), South Richmond (Richmond City south of the river), Charles City/New Kent, Highland Springs (Henrico), Mechanicsville, and Ashland/Hanover. See the link below to apply to volunteer with me! I'd love to have you!
Assistant Director Of Alumni Relations
Promoted from Alumni Relations Coordinator. While still working with young alumni, my primary focus is stewardship. I work to create events during Homecoming and Reunion Weekend that draw our alumni and friends back to the college. I also created Macon Connections and other events off campus (in Baltimore, Tidewater, Richmond, Western VA, Northern VA/D.C., and beyond) that engage alumni to connect back to their alma mater. Since going digital this spring, the development of virtual events for our alumni to attend has become top priority. I am the staff member coordinating the Young Alumni Board and 8 Reunion Committees (please email me if you have an interest in serving). I am also coordinating the alumni Instagram and Facebook accounts while also heading the committee for the whole college's social media strategy. Recruiting volunteers for Admissions and The EDGE is another large portion of my position. Want to help recruit the next generation of Yellow Jackets or help current Yellow Jackets with internships and jobs? Alumni Relations Coordinator
While still working with the Senior Class Gift Committee and soliciting young alumni, my main goals are to inspire more alumni interaction at R-MC. By helping with the 2019 reunion, strengthening alumni participation in admissions efforts, and alumni mentoring through our career services programs, I will be focusing more on alumni engagement. Cultivation of a philanthropic student body is another one of my goals. The Class of 2019 raised over $10,800 with 87% participation (a total of 292 donors). The Class of 2018 raised over $11,000 with 91% participation (a total of 280 donors). The Class of 2021 raised $2,000 from 25% of their class in fiscal year 2018, reaching their first year goal.
Annual Giving & Alumni Relations Coordinator- Temporary Position
I worked with young alumni from Randolph-Macon, building relationships to promote active alums in classes 2014-2018. I continue to be the staff coordinator for the Senior Class Gift Committee, with goals to reach over 93% participation and over $10,000 in funds.
Admissions Intern
I conducted informational sessions and recruitment activities for perspective students, utilizing my extensive interpersonal and public speaking skills. Given responsibilities like helping to plan twilight tours, special events, and the Junior Spring Open House, my organization and program development skills are reinforced. I have also produced marketing and social media promotions for the office during fall open houses and for contact with perspective students.
Co-Chair Senior Class Gift Committee
I implemented a successful giving campaign and acted as a spokesperson for the organization as needed to bring in funding, volunteers, etc. Our totals included 92% participation with over $12,000 gifts received.
Head Orientation Leader
Development Intern
I composed annual stewardship reports for major foundation and corporate sponsored grants and participated in multiple face-to-face donor solicitations. I also assisted in logistical planning of signature donor recognition events. The highlight of this experience was being invited to the opening of the Kehinde Wyllie exhibition in June of 2016 and being able to meet this influential living artist.
