IW produce research-based policy advice, monitor state compliance with legal obligations towards the victims of crimes and advocate for tailored policy solutions. The aim is to support victim's organisationst so they have a stronger voice in developing bottom-up and complementary transitional justice strategies.Impunity Watch is based in the Netherlands and has two country offices in Guatemala and Burundi. By partnering with other (I)NGO's we currently also work on/ in Syria, Iraq, Tunisia, DRC, and countries in the Western Balkans.
