As a coach, leader of performance pathway programs, and well-being manager my vision has remained constant -to be bold and innovative in creating environments that foster a sense of belonging and purpose and empower athletes to reach their potential. Consistent success in programs I have led over many years has reinforced that when there is a positive culture off the court, track or field there is a performance advantage on it. Extensive knowledge in performance sport has been gained through a lifetime of involvement. Experiences as an Australian track and field record holder and National representative, state netball player and a track and field scholarship holder at Arizona State University where I studied human movement and education provided a base of lived and educational experience. My professional career in sport has included; director of Australia's first international wheelchair road race the Oz Day 10K, member of Women in Sport Government Advisory Committee, Coach of the year at University of Sydney, Director of Sport at Pymble Ladies' College where I executed a plan to be the leading track and field program in Australia and General Manager of Performance & Pathways at Netball NSW where I drove a successful and inclusive performance culture for talented athletes and coaches, extended opportunities for regional and First Nations netballers and initiated an Athlete Voice committee. I look forward to being a strong contributor to a well-being system in Australia that bravely makes it mark in performance sport.
