Planned, developed, and oversaw CEDIA University operations and the volunteer and staff teams which offered an array of curricula development and certification programs to meet the needs and interests of association members and the industry. Implemented Training Assessment Strategy to demonstrate to decision-makers areas of strength and weaknesses with the association's educational realm. Implemented a 3-year plan to professionally develop five "colleges" of core curriculum to support CEDIA's training vision; acquired a Learning Management System - the software program which serves as the e-commerce and transcript tracking for the University; grew professional staff from 2 to 12; oversaw management of CEDIA Training Facility, and negotiated and received approval for a budget increase to 3.5 million dollars.Added the E-delivery mechanism for members to train and become CEDIA Certified Professionals which resulted in certification exams offered at 200+ locations in North America and establishment of content development process and procedures which reduced content development time. Cultivated relationships with CEDIA manufacturer members resulting in partnerships with fifty+ internationally based manufacturer/distributors which provided resources to CEDIA University and increased sponsorship of existing programs.Managed staff and interns including three directors, two managers, and four support staff; team oversaw training and development programs including vendor contract negotiations, training event management including facility contract negotiation, and certification and accreditation programs.Relationship Manager with volunteers who drove CEDIA University. Collaborated extensively with volunteers on vision, implementation, and program status. Extensive interaction with Board of Directors including Executive Committee.
