Hi there, welcome to my profile.I'm Margarida, a dedicated professional with a passion for graphic design. With 17 years of experience, I continually strive for excellence in every challenge I undertake. I also currently work in the fields of web design and social media, areas I have embraced over the years.In 2005, I completed my design degree at the University of Aveiro, where I had the opportunity to study abroad in England, working on projects that inspired me and fueled my desire to explore the world.However, it was at Openquest that I truly honed my potential as a graphic and web designer. I joined the company in 2006 as a graphic designer, responsible for creating advertising content for ATRA magazine. Thanks to my organizational skills, within a year, I was entrusted with overseeing the entire magazine's production, from ad creation to finalizing all materials for print, as well as managing content on the ATRA website (www.atra.pt).In 2010, I took my first steps into web design, which proved to be a significant challenge due to its complexity. In 2011, I transitioned my career into UX/UI design and graphic design, working on projects in both areas simultaneously, from crafting logos to creating website mockups.In 2020, I took on another project, managing ATRA's social media presence. Starting with Facebook in 2011 and adding Instagram in 2020, this venture demanded extensive research, sensitivity, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure that the content aligned with ATRA's client information.In 2021, my career took a significant turn as I moved to a different country and ventured into a freelancing career. This shift allowed me to further develop my project management skills and, concurrently, financial management.Now, in 2023, I'm ready for another adventure, this time in Ireland.     I've had the privilege of working on a wide range of projects, from the simplest to the most complex. My responsibilities included crafting captivating website designs, curating content for websites, crafting digital images, and spearheading email marketing campaigns.My journey as a UX/UI Designer brought me face to face with one of my greatest challenges: creating mockups for websites, despite my initial lack of experience in the field. The web development process adhered to a predetermined technical structure, and my role was to analyze this framework and translate it into mockups, first using Photoshop and later adopting Invision. With the support of a collaborative team, we scrutinized and fine-tuned these mockups, ensuring they met the highest standards of usability and aesthetics before presenting them to our valued clients.My ability to seamlessly adapt to new software and diverse work environments played a pivotal role in earning the appreciation of our clients. I take pride in my dedication to delivering innovative and visually compelling solutions to meet their needs.
