About Margarite Smit
In mijn werkzaamheden als docent en onderzoeker begeleid ik studenten in het ontwerpen van theater- en artistieke interventies. Hierbij zetten we theater in om gedrag en grote thema’s zichtbaar of bespreekbaar te maken. Dit doen we door naar het hart van het verhaal te gaan en dit vorm te geven in krachtige theatrale beelden en situaties. Hierbij kan gedacht worden aan een game, een interactieve voorstelling of een beleving. We werken hierin samen met welzijnsorganisaties, gemeentes en culturele- en maatschappelijke instellingen. Studenten worden uitgedaagd om hun vak in te zetten om een verandering teweeg te brengen in hun eigen omgeving.Als docent en ontwerper zet ik mijn vakkennis, zoals dramaturgie, in. Daarnaast heb ik een kritische en analytische blik, leg ik snel verbanden en werk ik resultaatgericht.Hoe ziet de toekomst eruit? Welke rol kan theater, in al zijn verschijningsvormen, spelen? Hoe kunnen we leren van het nu voor later? Ik ben geïnteresseerd in challenges op het gebied van kunst en cultuur, onderwijs, natuur, publieke ruimte, schaarste en hoe deze welzijn en welvaart beïnvloeden. Inzetbaar op strategie en de implementatie, advies voor beleidsontwikkelingen en toekomstscenario’s ontwerpen.
