I was the online voice and managed the social presence for Delta Hotels and Resorts®, Canada's largest full-service hotel management company with 38 city-centre, airport and resort properties in Canada. Provided social media marketing leadership and guidance on corporate initiatives, as well as acted as social media evangelist to a team of just under 40 local/regional champions across Canada. I provided ongoing public relations support for internal and external initiatives aligned with Delta's national PR and branding strategy, as well as regional initiatives for 45 hotels across Canada. Duties included writing and developing communications materials for internal and external audiences, including senior leadership and CEO communications, which were used on various channels (traditional and social); media relations for local campaigns; identifying opportunities for community outreach and overseeing the corporate social responsibility program for Delta's corporate office. I was also heavily involved in managing our national charitable partnership with Habitat for Humanity Canada.
