We’re dedicated to making San Francisco into a city that works for everyone — a city of action and compassion that addresses its citizens’ most urgent needs and invests in our collective future. But it’s up to all of us to get informed and get engaged.We believe we can change the way this city works — and so that it works for everyone — by building our sense of community. That’s why we’re creating a network of trained and informed volunteers to take action on the issues they care the most about. We host events and activities for volunteers to meet people seeking solutions to the same issues and learn about new ideas and ways to get involved.

Launched the Citywide Public Space Initiative to supplement the City's critical cleaning and safety services with regular activation, beautification projects and community engagement in conjunction with the hyperlocal groups who care about them.
