My work was followed by a group of senior researchers and therefore I consolidated a structured approach already cultivated in the studies.My work in a nutshell consisted in:• analyzing and processing the signals of a wearable sensor system;• writing an algorithm to identify particular features of the motor pattern;• analyzing the videos of the trials;• establish a protocol to analyze the videos;• comparing the data statistically.During MSc thesis I worked proactively to tasks given, producing reports periodically meeting deadlines. I wrote down and discussed successfully my thesis during the lockdown, so I endured even more my stress resistance.
Mechanical Design And R&D Support
The internship in Fiudi was introduced by a presentation of the company and its products, diamond tools for milling and turning.I was accompanied by the company tutor in a learning path of the machining operations and I was shown the roles of the operators and their workstations.I designed from scratch and/or rendered in CAD some turning inserts (supports, brazed, PCD), then milling and dressing tools on Inventor and Autocad.Having acquired a certain autonomy, I was entrusted with the design of particular milling drills, used on aerial carters.The design software used were Autocad and Inventor. I managed self-managing shifts with my collegues.• Support to the Research and Development department.• Creation of turning inserts (holders, brazed inserts, PCD).• Design of milling tools, milling drills, and dressing points on Inventor and Autocad.
