In 2016, Margie Gamez started MAGC Design Studio in Guayaquil, Ecuador, South America, with the intent of marrying strong, creative and client-focused design with an equally robust process, technical acumen and documentation. Over the years of testing, stretching these concepts, and taking projects from concept to reality, our own process was developed. It allows us faster design schedules and more predictable construction costs while maintaining high and custom design quality.

This data was collected for the architectural, cultural and historical heritage database of the country as requested by the National Institute of Cultural Heritage (INPC).

Contributed to the design and development of the private residential neighborhood “Manglero Vista”. The project consisted of nine 3-story buildings with two apartments per floor and two 11-story edifications with a penthouse on the top level.• Created hand drawn renderings in pencil, ink, marker and colored pencil.• Drafted and developed complete permit documents and details in AutoCAD to be used for permitting and construction.• Performed custom modifications in the interior and spatial design for exquisite clients.• Assisted in the interior finishes phase of modified floor plans.
