Chief Executive Officer
CurrentI serve as the CEO and Director of The Roop Group offering Ohio employers an option to terminating those who fail a drug test. Designed for small to mid-sized companies who may not have an EAP, CAP guides companies to execute a Last Chance Agreement (LCA) with the policy violator. With over 22 years in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) field and Qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) under U.S. D.O.T. 49 CFER Part 40, I've seen hundreds who’ve tested positive for prohibited substances. I know that most persons will agree to an LCA rather than lose their job; I also know that it's only WHEN the job is on the line that persons with a substance use disorder will accept help! Through CAP, persons receive an Initial Evaluation, are referred to treatment, then receive a Follow-Up Evaluation. Once cleared through CAP, the employer is notified when one can present for their return-to-duty drug test. Aftercare recommendations for one's success are also shared with the employer who then retains (or hires) an otherwise good employee. All services are provided by myself as the CAP Director. Employers: save time and money on interviews, background checks, and drug tests. Doesn't matter if they're an applicant or a current employee, I will see the person either in-person or virtually. The CAP process is quick and expertly done while the employer is continually kept in the loop. Contract with me; a small yearly fee will reduce the per case fee. Your employees can also call me directly confidentially for help before they test positive! Nothing to lose; EVERYTHING to gain, including a safer workplace, and savings to boot!
