One of 2 full-time Duty Managers responsible for managing the activities of front desk shifts, ensuring that guests receive prompt, professional attention.

~Doctoral work included in-depth research, analytical writing, literature reviews, study design & implementation, qualitative and quantitative data collection (interviews, online surveys), and data analysis. ~My fieldwork was conducted over 5 months, and involved visiting 75 organic properties along the east coast of Australia, interviewing owners and their workers. ~Contributing author for a book titled “Slow Tourism: Experiences and Mobilities” (ed. S. Fullager, K. Markwell, E. Wilson) - Chapter 7. Part-time work for James Cook University (a variety of roles)~I taught portions of several courses, including Tourist Management Strategies and Research Design Methods & Statistics. This included course material development. ~I also graded exams and assignments for numerous other courses. ~I was a research assistant for several large projects.

Led certified divers around the coral reef, ensuring safety as well as proper interaction with the environment. Duties included equipment preparation, boat setup, pre and post-dive briefings.
