Started as HR Manager, working with HR management team in London, developed the human resources function for the Americas Region. Reviewed and updated Employee Handbook. Developed orientation process. Reviewed and implemented employee development plan. Handled employee relations issues. Successfully conducted open enrollment for 135 employees. Administer the 401(k) plan, employee files and benefits enrollment. In July 2007, was promoted to HR Business Partner, AVP and added a Junior HR Generatlist to continue the building of the HR function. In April 2010 became the Global HR Business Partner for the Commercial sector in addition to my local responsibilities.

Served on the management team supporting 100+ employees including a group of non-exempt field technicians in the construction materials testing division. Proactively monitored and addressed employee relations issues, promoted communication and team building, and ensured consistent policy application. Successfully managed and re-engineered the recruiting process adding background and formal reference checking. Provided training and assisted in administration of a 360-degree performance review process. Served as the human resources representative on an acquisition deal team involved in combining subsidiaries and internal departments to create a new wholly owned subsidiary. Requested, reviewed and analyzed due diligence, made recommendations to senior management, and developed communication plans for all employees.

Conducted a full range of generalist activities including recruiting, employee relations, performance counseling, merit and bonus planning, and EEO/AAP analysis. Corporate Recruiting & Retention - Managed the recruiting staff (Relationship Managers, Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators) supporting the international business regions of Enron Corporation and Enron Engineering & Construction Company. Served as Relationship Manager for Enron Global Exploration and Production. Additionally, designed, staffed and managed the Research Department, which supported the recruiting efforts of all Enron operating companies. Executed and maintained all retained and contingency search firm contracts/relationships. Also managed the staff responsible for the Employee Referral and Reduction in Recruitment programs.

Started as a Research Associate with Ward Howell International, which was acquired by LAI Worldwide. Promoted to the role of International Database Coordinator. Served as Operations Manager and Director of MIS. Was promoted to Director of Research. Managed a decentralized department of 30+ researchers who supported business development and search execution. Reorganized the group into Industry Knowledge Centers aligned with the consulting staff Practice Groups. Worked closely with Practice Group Leaders to improve quality of products and services.
