I work as a broker for customers and some carriers. On the customer side of the transaction I make sure that their loads are loaded to their needs. Ensure that I am getting them the best rate along with better service. Keeping them up to date on their load from pick up to delivery. On the carrier side I work to also get my carriers the best rate and provide them the tools to ensure that they are able to get their load picked and delivered with no issues. Creating a good connection with each carrier to continue to keep them busy and loaded as much as I can. I also have created SOPs and other documents to ensure that everyone is always on the same page. This helps my team to be able to better work together. I take calls from our front line customer service team aiding them in their daily duties talking to customers. Watch and master for new processes and procedures to ensure that I am on top of all processes. Work a daily report to approve all returns that are not coming back over cost to stay in compliance with SOX. Collaborate with other teams to complete tasks and other projects that need assistance.
