● Deliver consulting services to clients seeking to enhance and grow capital and programmatic capacity through philanthropic and public-private initiatives.● Provide philanthropic council and create giving plans for donor-advised funds and individuals. Key Projects: ●Developed a comprehensive External Funding Strategy Recommendation report that provides a roadmap for the client to execute grant and partnership goals in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan. Deliverables included: frameworks, processes, and decision-making tools; an analysis and proposal for improvements to strategic partnership agreements; grant research and application review; recommendations for donor prospecting and relationship management● Advised and guided clients in creating a strategic planning process and seeking adoption of final plan by the board of directors and stakeholders.

● Founded and operated luxury camper van outfitter business; built and sold adventure vehicles to clients seeking off-grid travel experiences● Project management, budget control, procurement, insurance, contracting, marketing and sales● Completed all structural and systems design and fabrication of electrical (solar, batteries, device programming, wiring, lighting, etc.), plumbing, heating, framing, insulation, ventilation, cabinetry, and finish work

● Developed and executed the department public-private partnership strategy to leverage external funding and increase community engagement/volunteerism● Successfully secured $2.5M+ of external funding from grants, sponsorships and private contributions; executed contracts and exceeded funders expectations of program delivery, impact and capital improvements● Led team to created City’s first comprehensive Volunteer Management Strategic Plan, securing National Service Enterprise Certification for Boulder, leading to annual growth of 30+% in volunteer hours and quantifiable impact● Managed eight direct reports and multiple budgets; senior member of department executive leadership team and served as project leader for several city wide initiatives related to partnerships, integrated ecosystems management, innovation incubators and disaster preparedness/emergency response● Effectively and regularly collaborated with Park Planning, Marketing, Communications and other department work groups to design and implement effective awareness, outreach, engagement and fundraising campaign initiatives

● eTown is a longstanding Boulder based non-profit with a mission to educate, entertain and inspire a diverse audience, through music and conversation, to create a socially responsible and environmentally sustainable world. ● Managed relationships with national and local sponsors, including Whole Foods, WhiteWave Foods, New Belgium Brewery, EcoProducts, and the City of Boulder Parking Services● Developed strategic partnerships with organizations, including University of Colorado, Colorado Creative Industries, and The Nature Conservancy to create educational and creative programing and events ● Nurtured existing donor relations and cultivate new prospective supporters through direct mail and digital fundraising campaigns, VIP events at eTown Hall, and manage existing donor database, and grew donor database by 40% while increasing gross donations by 25% ● Prepared foundation grants for operational and program specific funding: awarded over $350,000 since 2013● Managed direct reports, team of 40+ community volunteers and all new staff/intern hiring and on-boarding
