After 20 incredible years in public school leadership , I'm excited to announce my retirement in June 2024! But my passion for education doesn't stop there. I'm looking forward to transitioning to the private sector to continue supporting educators and celebrating student success in new ways.Throughout my career, I've been a motivated and passionate Literacy Content Leader, dedicated to staying current with evidence-based practices and providing strategic, effective, and engaging professional learning for educators. My core belief is in growing student-centered instructional leaders who inspire and believe in every student's potential.As a member of my district's Curriculum and Instructional Team, I had the privilege of leading both our reading specialists and literacy coaching teams. Together, we empowered educators with research-based best practices, provided the tools they needed to thrive, and celebrated meaningful student growth. I took great pride in nurturing the growth of both these teams, spearheading the district's Student-Centered Coaching model, and supporting the successful implementation of multiple curriculum resources.In my next chapter, I'm eager to:- Leverage my expertise to support educators in new and innovative ways.- Work for a company that develops resources that are evidence based and empower educators to create engaging and effective learning experiences.- Advocate for student success and ensure all students have access to the resources they deserve.I'm excited to connect with educators, leaders, and organizations who share my passion for education!
