Robotics and computer science/engineering related work. Working on the SHERLOC team. SHERLOC is a Raman spectrometer that was selected for the 2020 Mars Rover missions. Developed MIND (Multi-INstrument Database), a web-based repository for sample collection. MIND was created primarily using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and some JavaScript.

Detecting gravitational wave emissions of cosmic superstrings using network of pulsars. Monte Carlo simulations done in Python.

Working on an investigation of galaxy formation that could occur without galaxy mergers. Analysis is currently in Python and TopCat. Ultimate goal is to check homogeneity of calibration, impact of depth of data on the local density, and to assign an RGB probability to every star.

I have written for online publications and print publications covering art, music, lifestyle, and politics. My pieces have been seen in magazines like Animal Fair Magazine, White Hot Magazine of Contemporary Art, and Sequenza 21. I have also worked as an on air radio reporter covering breaking news for Pacifica Radio’s Los Angeles and Berkeley affiliates KPFK and KPFA. Under the moniker of InsightOut News, I (without a production crew) produced over 50 objective online broadcast journalist reports on the occupy movement in Los Angeles.
