As the daughter of one of the original advertising ‘Mad Men’ – her Father was a gun Creative in the70-80s Adland Glory Days – Margot’s chief ambition in life is to disprove his theory that the internet is a fad. In the meantime she took most of his advice on board and entered the creative world.Margot emerged as an Art Director with a background in graphic design and 20+ years of experience under her belt.After her formal education she continued to grow in various environments such as in-house studios, boutique studios and small & large agencies. During this time, Margot had the privilege of working across a multitude of accounts including Audi, OPSM, Rebel Sport, Aldi, Big W, Ella Baché, Toyota, Wagamama UK, NRMA, Roses Only, Waverley Council and BeefEater. Her work has been recognised through a number of Australian Awards including the Adnews Glossy Awards and the Australian Catalogue Awards.Though her soul endeavour is to one day control the entire internet, Margot busies herself in the meantime with a bit of creative writing and has been published in the New York Times best selling book “It All Changed in an Instant: Six-Word Memoirs by Writers Famous & Obscure”. She’s considering collating all her short stories and musings into a novel, with the hope to hit the bestseller list herself so that she can fund her penchant for Bernard Villemot vintage posters and her pursuit of larger headphones.In 2012 Margot started her own business, Mandolina, entertaining freelance art direction, graphic design and finished art. Mandolina specialises in business start up branding, event theming, retail design and healthcare creative and design. Margot delivers simple, solution driven ideas and strong, solid design skills. She prides herself on good old fashioned finished art know-how, extensive print production knowledge and cunning typography skills – driven by her secret belief that there’s not a problem in the world that a bit of kerning won’t solve.

With a career that has evolved from graphic design to advertising, Margot’s 20 years of experience has been vast and varied.After her formal education at The Design Centre, Enmore, she continued to grow in various creative environments such as in-house studios and boutique design studios, before moving onto freelancing in both small and large agencies.  During this time, Margot had the privilege of working across a multitude of accounts including Audi, OPSM, Rebel Sport, Aldi, Big W, Ella Baché, Toyota and NRMA. Her passion for healthcare finally led Margot to Ogilvy Health, where she brings her specialised design talents and finished art skills, along with an optimistic approach to creating beautiful yet effective design in the healthcare space.
