As graduate of Adler University’s Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling program, I am a mental health professional with two years of training in clinical art therapy and counseling. I completed my clinical practicum at AMITA Health Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago where I worked directly with radiation, oncology, and neurology patients in various levels of medical care. I also have experience working with many populations including at-risk youth, adults with physical and mental disabilities, and children ages three to eighteen.I am well versed in several counseling theories combined with art therapy processes including CBT, Adlerian, and Person-centered expressive arts therapy. I am an organized and detail oriented individual with a compassionate demeanor. I am extremely passionate about the art therapy process, because it has served me in many positive ways throughout my life. I enjoy helping clients reach goals and learn new behaviors while challenging unhelpful ones through the artistic process combined with talk therapy techniques.
