I enjoy working in an international team with a strong diversity of people and cultural backgrounds, it's what makes it fun and interesting for me. In the past ten years I’ve been active in the maritime industry. For a shorter period of time as internal auditor (ISM and MLC) but mainly as crew manager in the merchant and offshore industry. In my current role as crew manager I am responsible to man the company vessels according to minimum safe manning, company standards and project requirements taking into account the international rules and regulations, vessels flag and area of work (<12 mile zone). I do this in close cooperation with the project team which consists of several stakeholders worldwide. Currently we have some awesome projects going on in Asia and Africa.
