I am a practising Barrister and operate a General Practice on the Dublin, Eastern and Northern Circuits.Currently I am the National Lead with Allied Admissions which operates the assisted admissions service on behalf of the HSE on a nationwide basis.I have a Barrister at Law Degree from the Kings Inns and an Honours Degree in Public Administration from the University of Limerick.Prior to my call to the Bar, I worked as Finance Director for Servisource Healthcare Limited, I continue to provide legal counsel to Servisource on a contract basis on a range of legal issues, including Employment Contracts and Litigation, Commercial and Intellectual Property Contracts and Data Protection Issues.My recent experience includes assessing potential candidates for inclusion on the panel of the Private Residencies Tenancy Board of Adjudicators / Mediators.I possess a strong business background and have completed a number of courses including;Orchestrating Winning Performance at the International Institute of Management, Lausanne, Switzerland,Extra Mural Course in Employment Litigation at Trinity College, Dublin,Introduction to Mediation at Friary Law, Dublin.I received Diplomas in Healthcare Law and In-House Practice from the Law Society, Ireland.I am currently studying at the Irish Tax Institute and am in the course of qualifying as a Chartered Tax Advisor.I am a member of the Bar Council and an associate member of the Irish Centre for European Law. I am also a member of the Mental Health Lawyers Association.I currently act as an advisor for FLAC and advise on employment law and general law matters.
