NTA Red Line Underground Stations – The Red Line LRT project is the first in a planned network of LRT lines that will cross and connect the larger Tel Aviv metropolitan region. The Red Line extends 23 km total, with 11 km of tunnel running under the densest portion of the city. Of its 33 stations, 10 will be located underground. All stations through the underground segment are line stations, with one exception: Carlebach Station will be an intermodal station, designed with a second underground platform, part of a proposed future Green Line. This is a very high profile and significant project to the City of Tel Aviv, as it is the first LRT project to be implemented in the city, the first underground transit system in Israel, and one of the largest architectural assignments ever awarded in that country.

Research Assistant
Research done as part of a field team led by Professor Dr.Robert L. Vann on the Southern Coast of Turkey. The tripconsists of visits to historical and archaeological sites insouthern Turkey and Istanbul. For the past two years (2013-2015) I have participated as astudent the first summer and a staff member both on thetrip and at U. of Maryland. Over the course of ten days of the trip we spend everyday out in the field surveying the ruins of Aperlae. Onsite students measure features and create drawings anddiagrams of both what they see and diagrammatic surveyplans that can then be recreated digitally. Using skillsand tools such as laser measurement and the Faro LIDAR[a 3D scanner] have not only taught the students valuableskills but also sped up gathering data in these past coupleof seasons. My main focus for the past two seasons has been thesarcophagi that scatter the hillsides in and around Aperlae.Through detailing location, type and style of these LycianSarcophagi, we have not only determined a timetable forthe city but also gathered valuable information as to thetypes of people living there as well
