I was the lead designer for Apollo gen 1, one of the first humanoid robots designed for friendly interaction, mass manufacturability, high payloads, and safe operation. Apollo was designed in collaboration with the renowned UI/UX design firm argodesign. Apollo’s approachable design succeeded in securing massive funding for Apptronik. I developed detailed, parameter-driven, CAD assemblies to allow the team to rapidly iterate on actuator, structure, joint, and electrical component packaging while maintaining anthropometric proportions. My work balanced mechanical feasibility, manufacturability, aesthetics, and human factors. This was achieved through use of generative design and FEA tools. I prepared media assets for Apollo’s public launch, including the Apptronik website and featured videos. In addition, I aided in the execution of multiple public events showcasing Apollo, such as SXSW and Humanoids conferences.

As an Engineering Intern at O2M, I contributed to pioneering oxygen imaging technology to combat cancer and other serious diseases. I developed the Smart Animal Life Ecosystem for safe animal experimentation, visualized a NIH/NCI SBIR phase I grant-winning human-sized oxygen imager, and redesigned critical hardware on JIVA-25 to improve lab workflows. I was awarded a patent for the Animal Life Support System, ensuring seamless integration of accessories for safe animal imaging. Additionally, I supported brand and marketing efforts by deploying a revamped website.
