About Maria Atanacković
I'm a Visual Artist currently living and working in Dublin, Ireland. I hold a First Class honours degree from London College of Communication, graduating in 2008 with a specialism in Printed Textiles. I'm drawn to investigating how people find a sense of belonging in unfamiliar places. Central to my work is the interplay between object and space, co-existence, interdependence and belonging. By combining graphic visual elements, I form new connections and reimagines interactions. I'm a member of Graphic Studio Dublin where I also works as a screenprinting tutor. I received the Arts Council Agility Award in 2021 and 2023, as well as the Fingal Artist Bursary in 2023 and 2024. My work has been commissioned by the Dean and Leinster Hotels and I exhibit widely.
