Maria Barragan Email and Phone Number
Human Resource Manager with progressive experience managing employee benefits & compliance, recruiting processes and on-boarding. Dependable and organized team player with the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment while building relationships with employees across all levels of an organization as well as maintaining them as the top priority. Skilled at problem solving, making independent decisions and identifying opportunities for improvement and change that would benefit company culture as well as individual goals.I started in the Human Resources field very young before I was even finished with my college degree volunteering at a hospital and was lucky enough to be hired on and given the opportunity to start my career there. I learned a lot in my time there and acquired expertise in onboarding processes. I took the best, learned from areas I need to improve in and moved on to a different aspect of healthcare which was on the insurance side. While there I continued to onboard and recruit but also was responsible for employee engagement and workplace culture. I moved on a to medical group where HR oversaw 5 different locations in San Bernardino County. During my time here the HR Manager and myself managed the COVID pandemic when it emerged and navigated through the unique challenges healthcare faced on a daily basis. After a few years the opportunity presented itself for me to change fields and I made the switch from healthcare to manufacturing to be a well rounded HR representative. Since I have been at Carpenter I have taken on responsibilities that challenged me to grow as an HR professional and achieve a level of maturity that has allowed me to foster positive and impactful relationships with employees and management alike.
