Medieviter med over 20 års erfaring som journalist, redaktør, formidler, tekstforfatter og pressekontakt, blant annet fra Dagbladet, Den Norske Opera & Ballett og Nationaltheatret. Jeg holder jevnlig formidlingsforedrag om moderne ballett i Operaen og kjønnsrepresentasjon i film ved KHiO. Jeg bygde opp og drev i 16 år det populære diktforumet Diktkammeret.no (tidligere under Dagbladet.no) sammen med Helge Torvund. Jeg lanserte min tredje bok, Hele verden skal elske oss (noveller), på Cappelen Damm vinteren 2023, etter at jeg ga ut den kritikerroste debuten Voksenting (noveller, 2010) og NY BY (roman, 2013) på Forlaget Oktober. Siden 2014 har jeg vært medlem av Forfatterforeningen. Jeg har bidratt i og redigert en rekke antologier.Våren 2023 fikk jeg A på masteroppgaven «Opprørere på randen av kunstnerisk gjennombrudd» om kvinnerepresentasjon i filmene Ninjababy, Gritt og Verdens verste menneske (Institutt for Medier og Kommunikasjon ved Universitetet i Oslo). Oppgaven ble kalt «et fremragende arbeid», «usedvanlig velskrevet» og «et solid stykke (norsk) filmanalyse, -teori og -historie, et virkelig bidrag til forskningslitteraturen på feltet». Jeg bor i Oslo.(ENG): Writer of three books: Hele verden skal elske oss (The Whole World Must Love Us, short stories), which was published primo 2023 with Cappelen Damm; NY BY (New City, novel, 2013), and the short story collection Voksenting (Grown-Up Things, short stories, 2010; the latter two with Forlaget Oktober).Member of the Writers' Guild of Norway (WGN) since 2014. Fellow of The MacDowell Colony in New Hampshire, USA (2011), Baltic Centre for Writers and Translators in Gotland, Sweden (2014, 2016), and Kunstnarhuset Messen in Ålvik, Norway (2015). I have over 20 years’ work experience as a journalist, editor, press contact and marketing writer, e.g. from the Norwegian daily newspaper Dagbladet and The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet. For 16 years, I worked with the popular and long-standing poetry forum Diktkammeret.no with Norwegian renowned poet Helge Torvund. June 2023, I received an A for my MA thesis on female representation in Norwegian film, called «Rebels on the Verge of an Artistic Breakthrough».I live in Oslo.

Press CoordinatorDen Norske Opera & Ballett Jan 2008 - Nov 2020Oslo Opera HouseThe Norwegian National Opera & Ballet is Norway's largest performing arts institution. After the grand opening in 2008, Oslo Opera House soon became a landmark and a major tourist attraction, and the Press Office welcomed journalists from all around the world. The work comprised coordinating journalists, photographers and videographers for stories about the spectacular architecture and performances; organizing interviews with artistic directors and artists, photo sessions, previews and recordings; writing press releases and articles about the performances, especially of ballet; and managing social media. For several years, I edited the in-house magazine, Backstage.Working increasingly with outreach since 2015, I've held introduction talks before the Norwegian National Ballet' modern ballet performances, e.g. by Jiří Kylián, William Forsythe and Mats Ek.I was employed full-time from 2008 through 2014, and from 2018 to 2020. In the years between and after, I've worked freelance by choice, and predominantly for The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet. -
ProgramredaktørNationaltheatret Jan 2016 - Jun 2017OsloJeg har redigert tallrike forestillingsprogrammer og bidratt med mange intervjuer om Nationaltheatrets forestillinger, særlig i årene 2016 og 2017, men også senere. Særlig nevneverdige forestillinger er: Vildanden + En folkefiende – Enemy of the State, Reisen til julestjernen, Mysterier, Richard III, Øy, og barneforestillingene Karsten og Petra og Stormen.Til førstnevnte intervjuet jeg intervjuet den islandske trioen som satte Ibsens to stykker Vildanden og En folkefiende sammen, og skuespiller Kai Remlov, som med sin Gamle Ekdal i rosa parykk gjorde sin avskjedsforestilling ved Nationaltheatret. Jeg har også intervjuet kunstnere som Vibeke Tandberg (Hunder) og Eline Arbo (Jane Eyre).Programmet til Reisen til julestjernen besto av lekne oppgaver for barn og unge, foruten intervjuer med blant andre regissør Kjersti Horn og en tekst om å hvorfor det er gøy å spille ond. Programmet var en fest å lage sammen med grafisk designer Sigurd Østensen og fotograf Øyvind Eide. -
