A research psychologist and certified lecturer with clinical experience, Maria has a PhD in psychology and behavioural neuroscience, looking at neural correlates (EEG) of affect and cognition, and trait moderators of the effects of social rewards and artificial interactions - including the development of novel computational paradigms and behavioural manipulations. Specialised in novel methodological perspectives of the dopaminergic reward and motivation system, and statistical modelling. Her research experience includes adapting Bayesian statistics to provide innovative solutions for modelling and predicting human cognition and behaviour.
