Although Fashion has always been a huge passion for me, it was not until I was attending 11th grade that I first considered it as a possible career. I was learning Sciences in order to go to Medical School, but then I realized that I really wanted to turn Fashion into a lifetime job. I grabbed the books and prepared myself for the core exams required to study Fashion Design at the University. And here I am, 5 years later, right after finishing my master at Fashion Design and an internship at Duarte, what I absolutely loved and that really turned me into a better designer. My main references are Alexander Wang, Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen.I have dedicated a great time of my Master studies to sportswear because I think it is the future of fashion… a natural evolution for the way people live and dress. I also enjoy sustainable fashion, modular design and casualwear clothing. I have gained some experience in prints design also.  With this internship I’ve also learnt a lot about how a fashion brand works and the all fashion process from choosing a concept and collecting materials, to the sales part, online and at the studio, and the contact with stylists, photographers and, of course, clients.Besides fashion, I love photography, learning new things about other cultures and countries, travelling, reading and film. I enjoy contact with animals and I am a volunteer at a dog shelter.
