Maria Cambone (she/her) is an event management professional with over three and a half years of experience in the industry. She discovered her enormous enthusiasm for the industry at Cvent, where she was a project manager on the Client Services team. Maria now serves as a registration manager at Elevate IME, a woman-owned third-party planner for boutique incentive programs, meetings, and events. Maria has a strong background in writing and in digital accessibility for people with disabilities, bolstered by her experience as a technical editor. She excels in problem-solving and customer support, skills developed through her previous career and financial coaching practice. Maria is passionate about using event technology and DEI principles to create beautiful, intuitive, and engaging digital experiences for all attendees.Outside of work, Maria volunteers with Scouting America Troop 1010 in Albuquerque, NM, where she mentors young people as they explore the outdoors, prepare for lives of impact and purpose, and become the best versions of themselves by learning from and respecting one another.
