I’m Maria Chapman and I’m a Life and Career Coach with a corporate career spanning fifteen years managing, leading and coaching individuals and teams within the Telcoms Sector.In 2004, having graduated with an Honours Degree in Psychology and a Higher Diploma in Management and Marketing I entered the corporate world. In 2009 whilst managing a team of 10 stores and 80 staff I challenged myself to achieve a Diploma in Personal and Business Life Coaching with the Irish Life Coach Institute. I found it fascinating, rewarding and aptly applied it across my corporate career. Having gained vast experience within various leadership roles I made a very conscious decision to recalibrate my life so I could help myself with the ultimate goal of helping others. In 2018 I just knew the time was right to dedicate myself wholeheartedly to sharing all I had learned and experienced in order to guide and support others in their life goals. Reluctantly but excited I decided to take the entrepreneurial step and I registered my business as a Life and Career Coach.In the last 10 years since I’ve qualified as a Life Coach I’ve learned to develop new coping methods and strategies based on more solution based thinking. This approach has really helped me with my own life as I juggle the constant demands of family life with 3 smallies under 6, working in a fast paced leadership role and now with the new demands of being an entrepreneur.I work with clients who want to make changes, whether in their career or in their life. I work primarily in 4 arenas – career, personal, return to work and parent coaching. A typical client can be personally stuck at some point in their life or a corporate client can be feeling trapped, frustrated or unfulfilled. Clients returning to work, as I know from personal experience can be suffering a loss of confidence and it can be scary and stressful. My work with parents is centred around the daily struggles and challenges being a parent can bring. I support my clients to unpick whatever is challenging them with solution based methods and strategies, whether in their career or in their life. Together we identify their goals and develop actionable plans to achieve them. I support my clients to make desired changes, achieve more balance, find fulfillment and increase satisfaction.
