I'm the Student Recruitment Officer (London & South East) for Lancaster University. Overseeing the regions of London, the East of England and the South East, I work with schools and colleges to attend HE fairs, deliver presentations and workshops. My goal is to inform and inspire students regarding their post-16 and post-18 options, and, as a Southerner myself, raise awareness around the benefits of studying in the North.I graduated from Lancaster University with First Class Honours in English Literature, Creative Writing and Practice. This involved completing my placement year as Online Content Intern at Eurail, where I relocated to the Netherlands for work and got to experience another culture. This has once again fuelled my desire for international work and travel. As winner of the People’s Friend Writing Competition ‘Thriller’ category (2024), the First National Writing Competition (2016) and shortlisted for the Iggy&Litro Young Writers' Prize (2017), the Sunderland Short Story Award (2018) and the Bath Short Story Award (2021), I am a highly motivated writer and editor, seeking to apply my communication and interpersonal skills to both professional roles and my own writing. With my personal values of honesty, integrity and reliability, I strongly believe in using language and communication to develop and further understanding. My hobbies including writing, learning languages, photography and travelling.
