My responsibilities included:- Carrying out quality reviews of web pages primarily from the Danish web domain, including the quality of writing and page features, fact checking, flagging fake news and malicious content;- Reviewing search engine results with regard to cultural relevance, tone and user intent, with the purpose of optimising search engine algorithms for Danish users- Providing feedback for voice assistant results (e.g. navigational requests)This position sharpened my analytical skills and web research capabilities, and has provided me with insight into communication practices by major news outlets, governmental institutions and the private sector.

My research goal was to describe and discuss the purposes, methods and challenges of scholars who employ web archives as a knowledge source. Using quantitative and qualitative methodologies, I conducted surveys and interviews with researchers from Aarhus University, the University of Copenhagen, and the Royal Library. As a result, I was able to gain insight into issues specific to digital collections from the users’ perspective, such as the necessity of better discoverability and new analytical tools, as well as compile a series of recommendations to make documents more easily accessible to the public. During my internship I primarily planned, filmed and edited short commercial videos for the clinic, including main interviews and B-rolls. The post-production included color correcting, developing intro and outro motion graphics in After Effects, and subtitling. In addition, I was responsible for some website adjustments, among which photo editing and layout improvements.
