I am currently a fourth year undergraduate student at Penn State University, double-majoring in Business (with a concentration in Accounting) and Humanities. As a student, I have explored many opportunities regarding leadership, networking, community service, and career exploration. Throughout my first three years of my undergraduate studies, I have been academically involved in our Honors program, while also being inducted into the Pi Sigma Phi Academic Honors Society. Regarding leadership and involvement, I have previously served as the Student Government Association President for 2 years, a Peer Mentor, a New Student Orientation Leader, a THON Team member and 2-time dancer, and a member of many different clubs/ organizations (Business Club, Garden Club, Pride Alliance Working For Students, Lion Ambassadors, Christian Club, Student Activities Advisory Council, etc).In my previous role as Student Government Association President, I served as the official voice of our student body in campus and university matters. I also presided all student government meetings and oversaw the planning, coordination, and implementation of many student initiatives and projects. I also represented our campus in speaking roles, university events, and through the Council of Commonwealth Student Governments council sessions at Penn State University. I also served as the Co-Chair of our campus Student Initiated Fee Board, as I oversaw the requests and allocation of over $500,000 of campus funding for student events, projects, and spaces.In my current year, I am taking on new roles including President of Business Club, the Special Events Captain for our campus THON Team, and the Student Government Association Academic Affairs Chair.I have also been previously and currently involved in higher level opportunities within the university such as being a voting member of our campus Faculty Senate, a member of our campus Faculty Senate Academic and Curricular Affairs Committee, and currently the University Faculty Senate Student Senator (representing the 14 university college campuses within the Penn State system), and a member of the University Faculty Senate Curricular Affairs Committee.I have also had the pleasure of serving on the Constitutional Review Committee for the Council of Commonwealth Student Governments, and am currently serving on the Commonwealth Fee Board.
