My practice focuses on representing employers in employment-related litigation and counseling them on labor and employment matters. I advise and represent employers against claims related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour issues. I also represent employers in lawsuits to enforce their rights under departing employees' non-compete agreements to protect trade secrets and other confidential information. Additionally, I counsel clients through all stages of the employment relationship—from hiring and training to termination. I partner with employers to review, update, and develop policies, procedures, and employee handbooks. I also regularly draft and negotiate employment agreements; non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements; and separation and release agreements.

Drafted 50+ orders and opinions related to various civil and criminal proceedings, including claims involving pipeline easements, breaches of contract, arbitration agreements, insurance coverage, fraud, and bankruptcy; managed seven trials; supervised training of law clerks and distributed civil cases among all law clerks.
