I am delighted to be serving the Vashon Senior Center as Executive Director. I’ve enjoyed a long, diverse worklife, always revolving around my passion for storytelling, interest in human nature, and impulse to help when needed. I have been a performer, writer and theatre-maker my entire life (since age 8 to be precise). I’ve spent my worklife in the nonprofit world, spanning both arts and social services. My favorite job before my current one: touring the US and Canada in PostSecret: the Show, a whirlwind two-month journey of sharing secrets in fabulous theaters with a wonderful company. As a grant writer and public relations specialist, clients have included Vashon Heritage Museum, Theatre Off Jackson, UMO Ensemble, Vashon Sheepdog Classic, Vashon Athletic Club, Passport2Pain / VIRC, FortunaLux, East West Produce, UMO School of Physical Arts.I am proud of my work on behalf of these fine organizations as well as Open Space for Arts & Community (Director of Communications and Development), Playwrights Project (Artistic Director) and Rainier Valley Youth Theatre, a program of SEEDArts (Artistic Director).

I also wrote and performed pieces for UMO's Box Set at the Vashon Allied Arts New Works Festival and wrote the script for UMO's acclaimed aerial production of Rapunzel.
