Responsible for projects to reduce engineering rework, reduce project lead times and warranty costs, improve processes, product quality, and product manufacturability.o Developed and Maintaining a SharePoint tracking system for all changes required and performed in the Item Master Database, eliminating manual input and reducing the part attributes differences between the PLM and ERP system attributes from 36% to 2%.o Designed and implemented business processes supported by MS Office Excel tools to improve current engineering processes and reduce manual labor input by 75%. These systems improved engineering work flows, EBOM-MBOM updates, Tracking Tools, automated charts and Item Master integrity. o Responsible for implementing and enforcing ISO 9001 engineering procedures in Configuration Management department.

Responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and systems supporting General Motors Engine Plant business in Silao Mexico. Responsible for both infrastructure and software development projects to improve both IT availability and capability as well as projects to improve plant efficiency and reduce costs. o Project Management: Implemented a new installation of fiber optic network with CISCO systems technology resulting in faster communications and 99.98% availability.o Managed the department budget including AOP planning. Responsible for creating processes for continuous improvement to reduce IT baseline spend by 2% but providing the same level of service. o Developed standard work for both IT department and supplier partners to improve IT functional excellence using 6 sigma tools resulting in efficiency improvement allowing us to reduce onsite headcount

Silao Complex Planner – Plant OperationsResponsible for all assembly plant planning and coordination with US management regarding export product and new product launch builds. Responsible for leading the Business Plan for entire Complex and budget control for Planning /Direction department. Lead Planning Coordinator between all plant functional areas including materials, engineering, operations, finance, and IT systems during new product launches as well as improvements on manufacturing and special events. The Silao Complex employed over 2000 employees, consisted of 30,000 square foot of manufacturing space, and had capacity of 300,000 units (SUVs) a year.o Using 6 sigma methodologies, led a project to reduce inventory by 30% by implementing a plant wide inventory control database. o Implemented a database for engineering change control to monitor and manage all changes through Electronic Engineering Changes Release (EECR), Special Equipment Options (SEO´s) tracking and control for all plant final products. o Implemented a close monitoring system (Access database) linked to the financial system used to monitor costs and create on-line reports based on departmental expenses. Used by all plant departments. This led to a reduction in departmental managed expense by 5 % over 2 years.
