My role is to engage with the community to showcase Touchbase Pears and occupy the wonderful facility to become a space for community groups and individuals to regularly use. I will also be working alongside other Sense teams to support them with the delivery of their projects as well.

As part of my role I support the Fundraising volunteers including; volunteer collectors, collection box coordinators, fundraising groups, event volunteers and our Hospice ambassadors. I am also project-lead for the Big Brum Bucket Collection, the Hospice's largest volunteer-led event that is held annually in September.

As Engagement officer my role was to inspire and encourage individuals to take part in wheelchair basketball. One of my main roles was educating healthcare professionals such as physiotherapists and occupational therapists on the classification system of wheelchair basketball. I attended hospitals and private clinics nationwide to deliver presentations on.

As Let's Play Programme officer I worked with the National Governing Bodies of 6 disability sports (Wheelchair Basketball, Powerchair Football, Boccia, Wheelchair Tennis, Wheelchair Rugby and Goalball) to hold 12 events across the country to encourage individuals to come and try the different disability sports.
