The aim of the NSW Youth Frontiers Program is to build young people’s skill, capacity and community connectedness through mentoring to help them achieve their goals and develop and deliver a civic project. To achieve this our main objective is to work with over 300 volunteers and over 30 schools within the Western and South western Sydney and Nepean areas. Matching students to volunteers who will work with them for 6 months to help mentees develop a community project and assist young people to improve and develop life skills, self-esteem and resilience, leadership skills and the confidence to plan and deliver a project.
