    As my role as a Cash Management accounts assistant developed, the first responsibility of the role became updating and distributing multiple morning Cashflow files covering all businesses daily to the relevant parties in an accurate and timely manner. Alongside the daily bank reconciliation of the specialist businesses, I was also responsible for the posting and reconciliation of a number of balance sheets including credit cards, PI slips, and foreign payment accounts. Weekly tasks of the role included the verification, processing and authorisation of both domestic and foreign purchase and sales ledger payments across multiple businesses, systems and bank accounts. Any spare time in the role was spent supporting the Management Accountant with collating audit information and other ad hoc duties.When I first joined Bidfood in this role, I was accountable for the daily bank reconciliation and journal posting of the Bidfresh companies alongside processing domestic and foreign payments from the relevant bank accounts.
