I am CeMAP & CeRER qualified, with over 20 years of experience in the financial sector. I have taken the step to move into the whole of market broker world, which is very exciting and something I am looking forward to diving into.Prior to this I worked at Nationwide for 20 years being part of many teams in many different roles, my last role prior to leaving was as a Mortgage and Equity Release Trainer before this I was a Team Manager of a National Regulated team in Mortgages and Equity Release. Prior to this I was a highly successful Mortgage & Equity Release adviser.I am passionate about wellbeing and genuinely feel that a happy adviser=happy customers. It is important to get the balance right and look after yourself, then you can look after others. I never thought I would work in financial services and when I went for that 1st interview it was to 'just get a job' while I decided what I did want to do when I grew up! Not sure I still know now, but what I do know is that I've found that I love being able to help people and that's not just our customers , but being able to support a team member or colleagues to achieve their goals and dreams has been the best time of my working life. Seeing someone take something you have taught them and then make it their own and a success is what gets me up everyday.I am always up for a challenge and love learning, the best part of learning is being able to share that with others.I pick things up quickly and love getting into the detail, I'm not afraid of deadlines or targets as these are things to aim for and give me the drive to get things done efficiently.
