I worked at a variety of company facilities assisting with doctors and working alongside physician assistants. I’ve learned the discipline of retina specialty and how important it is for many people. This job allowed me to extend my biology background in a close knit community to advocate for patients and families with concerns, improvements and treatments for their vision. Through working here, it has let me lead with critical thinking, quickly adapt to changing environments with different doctors and their needs as well as the day itself. I have also brought empathy with respectful communication to peers and patients.

This job granted me the experience of working bedside for nursing home residents, with nurses and doctors. I learned in a different perspective how to care for people who needed help to live and do their daily activities such as feeding and bathing. It was a very rewarding yet demanding experience to help make a difference with the older community. Through a positive mindset, I was able to advocate for patients needs, communicate, be very versatile, organized and time managed. Those characteristics that I demonstrate on a daily basis, really helped me form strong relationships with coworkers, residents and their families.

I worked alongside coaches who coached me when I was playing in the Twinsburg High School Lady Tigers program. Coaching was a huge time commitment that showed me the importance of unwavering dedication, enthusiasm, passion, and to be a positive role model for not just young girls aging 14-18, but youth children as well. I helped organize practice and to maintain a timely schedule. I have created practice plans, set plays, maintained program equipment, and emphasized and upheld program philosophy. As an assistant coach, I was able to form lasting relationships with the girls, staff and community.
