Managing annual spend for non-production spend supporting locations in North America, Asia and Europe. Primary spend categories include travel and related services, telecommunications, real estate, media, freight and logistics, and other professional and business services. Responsible for providing Sourcing support and oversight for assigned NPI projects within the Grid Automation P&C business. A strong member of a cross-functional NPI (new product introduction) team to ensure the best suppliers & parts are qualified for the design.

• Accountable and contribute to overall strategy for the indirect Material and Services spend within the Grid Automation business. • Manage supplier contracts, supply agreements, and e-auctions with preferred suppliers to ensure that market trends, supplier performance, and future business needs are aligned • Develop and execute long term global commodity strategies for a moderate group of suppliers, with varying levels of complexity • Develop and maintain reporting structure to provide accurate accounting of Indirect Commodity savings across GA. • Manage Oracle applications and workflows used for tracking and approval of Indirect material spend. • Provide Site level support for Indirect Commodity strategies and spends; working closely with Site Sourcing Leaders to execute the strategy • Develop competitive negotiations to drive deflation with the global supply base, while meeting capacity and quality requirements • Lead the evaluation and selection of new suppliers, development of existing suppliers, and overall supplier management • Define and drive use of preferred suppliers plus develop alternate sources to reduce single and sole sources • Collaborate with supporting resources (engineering, quality, global supply chain, and regional teams) to achieve plan, ensure adequate cycle time to procure materials, and escalate critical materials from supplier based to meet customer demands • Develop technical and market expertise in commodity area
