I started working at the age of 13 in my grandfathers saw mill making grade stakes, and also cutting down trees and sawing them down to firewood size and then I would manually split all firewood and then deliver to the customer and stack it up for them. I did some volunteer work in a few nursing homes coordinating activities to do with them. Then I ended up getting pregnant with my first child at the age of 15 had him by the time I was 16 then had my first daughter by the time I was 17. I managed to graduate high school a year early with one baby and one on the way. When I went back to work I ended up working in Motel up in Greenville, ME. As well as the grocery store in Greenville, ME. Then later on I ended up receiving a certificate, which was the National Hardwood Lumber Association (NHLA) Certified Hardwood Lumber Grader, and worked at Kennebec Lumber for a bit. I worked at a gas attendant. I went to College at KVCC in Fairfield, ME for Precision Machining, and working at Midstate Machine making air plane parts and army tank parts. And now I’m currently working for Vector Marketing showing/selling Cutco. Which I really enjoy I just need a more steady income.
