Hello and welcome! I am a graduate of Rice University where I double majored in Biological Sciences and Psychology. During college, I dedicated my time as an officer in national non-profit organizations such as Camp Kesem, in leadership positions for student government, as a peer academic mentor, and as an editor for the Rice Campanile yearbook. During the summer of 2015 I studied abroad in Germany through the competitive Roy Jones Fellowship and had the outstanding opportunity to immerse myself in the German language and culture. From 2016 to 2020 I attended the UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Overall, I am passionate about empowering underrepresented minorities to pursue STEM careers, working to reduce healthcare disparities, and volunteering in my community. I look forward to continuing my medical education as an anesthesiology resident at the University of Washington.
